Tyra has tough Competition.With the Day Time Emmy’s coming up, The Tyra Banks show will have to face tough competition with regards to the Best Soap Opera award.

Four other shows queuing up for competition are “ The View” , “ Dr Phil”, “ The Ellen De Generes Show “ and “ Rachel Ray”.

Sources say that “The View” will definitely bag the award for the best TV show, and Dr Phil will bag the award for the award for the best talk show host category.

Tyra nor her shows are no where on the list. This is quite surprising isn’t it?

Looks like not many people are happy with Tyra’s decision of moving the show to New York . Reason being that hundreds of Californian’s are out of work due to this decision.

Most of the crew members refuse to shift from the West Coast, and it is they who are hit the hardest. Both Tyra and Oprah’s show deal with issues related to upliftment of women, and with this recent development lot of comparisons are been drawn between Oprah and Tyra.

Tyra is certainly in the bad picture and Oprah is viewed with a lot of compassion as she was very considerate towards her crew. Changes do bring in a lot of uncertainty and this indeed is very true in the case of Tyra.

Tyra is all excited about the venue change of her day time talk show . “I’m thrilled to be moving to New York. After spending some time in the city this past spring, I knew the energy and rhythm of the city would be great for the show. I feel connected and completely at home,” Banks has said.

Not only this , Kiss bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons will be appearing on “The Tyra Banks Show”, on Tuesday, June 12. According to a press release, “Tyra sits down with legendary rocker Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed to discuss their reality show, ‘Gene Simmons Family Jewels’, which followed them as they got his and her facelifts. They are then joined by their son who makes the audience scream when he reveals the unique trait he inherited from his dad.”

Not only is the venue but also the celebrities who are to be hosted scheduled. Now that’s called a sequenced lay out of plans

Supermodel Tyra Banks believes she is still single because she doesn’t know how to be sexy with a man.

The former catwalk star and talk show host has modelled for fashion houses including Tommy Hilfiger and Victoria’s Secret, but she still has trouble finding a man, because she loses her confidence when she’s on a date.

She says, “Put a camera man on me and I’ll give you sexy. But put me at a candlelit dinner table with a guy and I’m a dork.”

Retired supermodel Tyra Banks has lost 30 pounds in five months after photographs of her beachwear left her in tears on her U.S. TV talk show.

Banks insisted the shots of her in a bikini during a winter break were just taken from a bad angle as she launched a ‘So what’ campaign on her TV show and urged the tabloids to stop poking fun at stars’ weight loss and weight gain.

At one point she broke down on her show, stating, “With all the self-esteem my mom instilled in me, the criticism still hurts.”

But the terrible photographs forced Banks to take action - and, after months spent eating right and exercising, she has dropped 30 pounds, according to Life & Style magazine.

An insider tells the publication, “She’s eating healthy foods,but they’re ones she likes, so she’s more apt to maintain her diet.”

And she’s completely revamped the food that’s available to her and guests backstage at her show.

Marcellas Reynolds, a frequent guest on The Tyra Banks Show, adds, “The craft-service table is now entirely absent of junk food and carbs. All you see are lean turkey sandwiches and loads of fresh-cut veggies and fruit.”
