Even though she is not as good as Oprah but Tyra Banks is doing a pretty good job with her talk show. She was still setting the ramp afire when she decided to do a talk show.

“When I announced that I wanted to do a talk show, a lot of people were very skeptical, which, of course, I understand, … I think I’m very good at stepping outside of myself and seeing what I think other people perceive and they perceive a girl that has modeled half of her life and that’s pretty much it.”

And she works pretty hard on her interviews to make them interesting.

“When it comes to my celebrity interviews, I’m going to do a lot deeper research and ask them things that people haven’t asked before, … I’ve been on the other side so much, I have a leg up on a person that has only just interviewed people.”

Good going Tyra!

With that killer looks and that hot body Tyra Banks has I used to wonder if the woman survived only on Salads and Juices. But I was wrong.

When asked about her ideal meal and her diet, Tyra Banks revealed,

I just love food. My ideal meal could start with some fried zucchini or shrimp with sauce - cocktail, ranch - any sauce. My friends call me the condiment queen because the waitress will bring out every sauce on the menu. Then I’d have some mashed potatoes with butter and cream, macaroni and cheese followed by fried chicken. Then I’d follow that up with creme brule or Haagen Daazs ice cream - Cappucino Commotion.”

Remember Adrianne Curry?The winner of Tyra Bank’s reality show America’s Next Top Model, season one? The one who hated Tyra Banks? She reportedly had a cosmetic breast correction surgery in order to correct the size of her breasts and make them of the same size.

Sources say that Curry got her breasts reconstructed and implants inserted because one was 20% larger than the other breast.

I wonder if the Tyra Banks knew about the surgery before she entered the show or not. Even Pamela Anderson could come up with an excuse like that… but the point here is… had Tyra been fair?

A poll conducted, conferred Tyra Banks with the title of the Most Annoying Talk-Show Host. People actually thought that she behaved like a ‘Wannabe’ with her acts (read antics) of dressing up like an obese woman, pretending to be homeless etc.

Some viewers think that she to desperately ape Oprah Winfrey but fails. They find Tyra’s show rather shallow when compared to Oprah’s. Most of them believe that she should stick to America’s Next Top Model only.

Tyra Bank’s struggled very hard to reach the top position that she reached now… Looking at her awesome hourglass figure one must have wondered she didnt have to try too hard. But the producers and model co-ordinators used to reject her because of her huge forhead.

Her forhead of course is a bit too big… She should have got a nice light fringe crafted off her fine hair… to conceal that huge forhead in style.

The show’s household rating is down 6% season to date to a 1.5, but Warner Bros. lost some of the double runs to get its rookie syndie series “The Keith Ablow Show” cleared on Fox stations.

And even though the show’s down 8% year to year in the women 18-34 demographic to a 1.2, “Tyra” is still the fourth highest-rated series in that category among all 13 syndie talkshows, so the company gets a premium from Madison Avenue for the seven 30-second spots it sells within each hour.

Banks is a co-exec producer of “Tyra” with Alex Duda, John Redmann and Benny Medina. They tape the show in L.A. Ken Werner, president of Warner Bros. Domestic TV, and Fox TV Stations CEO Jack Abernethy engineered the “Tyra” deal.

Tyra Banks’ is one of those few models who are so comfortable and proud of their bodies that she would even walk around stark naked without feeling conscious one bit.

But despite this confidence in her body, she really conscious of her arms and fingers.

“I don’t know what to do with my arms. It just makes me feel weird and I feel like people are looking at me and that makes me nervous,” she says.

Also her fingers, she says,

“Because my hands are rough and wrinkley, they are my least favourite feature. An ex-boyfriend used to call them ‘Freddy Kreuger’ fingers.”

Tyra Banks is facing a lot of criticism for an episode on her show where she called Kathryn Xian, an activist whose mission is to “change peer culture in order to prevent increasing violence against women and girls through education, entertainment and positive representation of women,” to debate with a well known pimp Dennis Hoff who owns the infamous Bunny ranch and spends time promoting his brotherl on various TV and radio programs.

It would have been an interesting debate between Xian who fundraises for women’s cause and Hoff who earns his living from fostering prostitution, if Tyra acted a responsible host. People accused her of making sure that the debate never took place.

Xian definitely felt offended being a part of the show that glorified the pimp. She reveals she was contacted by the producers at the Tyra Banks Show to debate Hoff and his effort to legalize prostitution.

Xian says of the event, “Dennis showed up looking like a pimp and the show redressed him to look like a business man. He loaded the show with more girls than he was supposed to have and planted clients in the audience as well to testify on behalf of the Bunny Ranch.”

However Xian still stands firm on her mission to prevent violence against women and girls. While Hoff and his supporters promote the lie that prostitution is empowerment…Tyra’s behavior on the show revealed that she will continue to pimp the power of stupid into America’s living rooms.

Good news for all you fans of the famous show ‘America’s Next Top Model’ as the show can now be had on the screens of your mobile phones in the form of a game.

The game is supposed to be a avatar-based game where players get to select a virtual version of their favorite contestants and interact with them as if they were advancing their modeling careers.

The game also includes a viral, player-to-player component, where users can send their avatar to another user’s cell phone, where that user can then guide that contestant.

Tyra Banks is planning to adopt a baby and join the Mother Earth club like Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman and Madonna. She says she had harboured the idea of adopting since childhood but I guess she has reconsidered her plans only after realizing how hep adoption has become now.

She says, “I’ve wanted to adopt since I was eight, nine years old, before it was hip.I really do think I will. I don’t have to have a child come from my womb to have a connection. Children that are already born are beautiful to me. I can definitely be a mother to them.”

But I wonder if Tyra would adopt a child of the African origin like she or go for a white child. As far as I think, since Tyra has worked so much for the benefit of African Americans that it is likely for her to adopt an African American kid for that comfort level. But you never know. Or she might just turn all around and beat Angelina Jolie adopting a child from India who is niether African nor American.

Lets see how Tyra choses her child…Boy or Girl would be a different story…But I think its gonna be a girl for Tyra. You Bet!
