‘Tyra Banks Show’ is the latest to make it to the Music Lounge, which Lounge is a free 3D virtual world where fans can explore a virtual city, chat with their friends, listen to music, and just hang out. It also lets fans design their own avatars, a digital replica of themselves, by customizing everything from their hair to their clothes to their personality all while listening to the latest music.

And on the 12th of February, the show held the first event on the virtual set where Tyra hosted a Post Grammy Party. “Tyra’s loyal audience and her brand are a perfect fit for this virtual world. This opportunity also gives the show a new platform for its audience of young adults to blend the entertainment value of television with the socializing power of the web, which is increasingly becoming an integral component of that audience’s daily media mix,” said Hilary Estey McLoughlin, President of Telepictures Productions. Tyra says, “Creating this groundbreaking extension of the ‘Tyra’ brand is indicative of the long-term strength and the influence of the show. I love writing my journals and reading blog comments from viewers on tyrashow.com, but creating a virtual talk show set and a virtual ‘mini-me’ allows me to take that interaction to the next level. This technology is so amazing. I am blown away by how advanced it is. Viewers can pick their hairstyle, hair color, their clothing, and more. Then they can hang out on the set and chat with other people, a group of friends, or even me. Once viewers try it, they’re going to be addicted - I’m so hooked!”

Tyra Banks will be seen in the same pair of bikini that she appeared in, ten years ago on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. Banks became the first black super model to appear on the cover alone on such a high rated magazine. “I was about 140 pounds on that cover … and I’m 161 now. I’d say I looked like a stripper when I put it on. They covered the sides of my chest so that it wasn’t so much hangin’ out. And they put some extenders on the sides of the bikini bottom so it fit me” said the yester years super model in an interview of hers. Still the polka dotted red bikini and Tyra Banks on the 1997 edition still stays in memory of all.

Even after selling lingerie and bikinis for more than a decade with her angelic catwalk, the five-foot-ten inch supermodel Tyra Banks is now being dragged by media because of her recent weight gain. The supermodel turned Talk Show host fired back at the media with a cover story in this week’s People magazine. She said, “Today, I weigh 160 pounds so that is 10 pounds I gained, not 40. You know I eat on this show; I talk about food, how much I love eating. I gain weight and I lose weight, just like everybody else,” she added. With her confidence it looks like everyone will have to make peace seeing her old 126 pounds snaps and not crib about her latest weight gain.
